Simple props to make your party pictures pop

Having a party is about spending time with people that you love. It's nice to be able to take some photos that capture these memories. It's even better when the pictures look great and garner a lot of likes on your social media streams! Often the trick to a great photo is a great prop. Here are some things to consider.

Helium balloons

Helium balloons are a great way to add a pop of colour to the back of a photo, which can help make it eye-catching. If your friends tend to dress in darks and basics, it can be great to add some extra colour to the composition of the photo. A bouquet of helium balloons from a party store is a practical and easy way to have some bright balloons in the back of your photos.

Large prop letters

Many party hire stores hire out large prop letters you can use in the back of shots. These look great and give people a range of options to use in their poses. They can also help to identify your specific party which can be fun to make your photos stand out amongst a stream of similar shots. You can choose your initials, or some other fun letters such as spelling out a short word like 'FUN' or 'LOVE'.

Costume accessories

If you are having a costume party, it can be great to have a basket of cheap accessories that you can buy from a party store. This could include wacky oversized glasses, sequinned ties, and party hats. Try and theme the costume accessories either in a colour family or within the theme of your party to make your pictures look extra fantastic.

Extra light

The best shots use natural light, but if you are having a party at night, it can help to add some warm and flattering lights. You can often hire some extra sources of lighting from party hire stores such as strings of fairy lights. These can be placed around the party to create points of interest and fun contrast.

If you want to make sure that your party generates a lot of 'likeable' photos that fill your social media stream, then the party hire store should be your first stop. They can help you to buy or hire some great props that will make your photos look great and stand out from all the other photos.

About Me

How I Made My Home and Garden Look Great

Welcome to my blog! My name is Tyler and I would like to tell you a story about how I made my home and garden look great. For a long time, I didn't think twice about how my home and garden looked. However, then I met this wonderful woman and I realised I would be inviting her over to my place. I called in my friend who is a home and garden contractor and told him that I needed to fix up my home and garden. He was really great and completed the work while giving me some great tips. I am now married to that wonderful woman so I decided to start a blog to help others.
